Steve Belyea - CEO / Co-founder

Steve’s passion is pretty much anything cool with an engine including automotive, aerospace, motorcycles, and boats. Growing up building model cars and aircraft he transitioned to rebuilding cars at the age of 15. He studied Electrical Engineering Technology at the New Brunswick Community College in Saint John and worked as an aircraft maintenance and fueling technician while maintaining his interest in automobiles. His aircraft fueling and tank-truck systems experience led to managing the specification and production of hundreds of bespoke heavy tanker trucks for Canada’s largest oil refinery/distribution company. Steve patented several electronic control systems to improve fuel transfer safety and efficiency founding BASE Engineering Inc. in 1996.

Isaac Barkhouse - CTO / Co-founder

Isaac is an electric powertrain simulation and testing specialist with a passion for developing sustainable technologies. He is a co-founder of Potential Motors Inc. and most recently served as the company's Chief Technology Officer. Prior to Potential Motors, Isaac worked with Bosch GmbH in Germany in their electromobility services and sensor characterization divisions. Outside of this work, he has developed racing vehicles for hobbyists, built a custom e-bike, and converted gas vehicles to electric. In his spare time, Isaac can be found fixing up his 1985 camper van and heading on an adventure into parts unknown. An avid mountain biker and skier, he lives with his partner and their cat on the Wolastoq River in Saint John.

Greg Hemmings - CMO / Co-founder

Greg Hemmings is a global thought leader in the area of storytelling for corporate social and environmental impact. He is an environmentalist, community movement-maker, entrepreneur and filmmaker. Greg’s passion is to help companies exponentially grow by using their influence and their story to inspire positive change in the world. Greg is also a global ambassador of the B-Corp movement.

Kyle Gulliver - CFO

Kyle’s background is in commercial banking and wealth management, having managed over 200 million dollars in commercial loans and private investments prior to joining Victory. Kyle is co-founder and chair of United Way Saint John’s GenNext Cabinet, a member of United Way Saint John’s Community Investment Advisory Committee, and a member of Port Saint John’s Community Liaison Committee.
